Alice Delgado and Melissa Lucia, Interlachen, FL
A few years ago we hired Rissi Cherie to design and install curtains for a large bay window, as well as a 10-foot sliding glass door. The work was done in a timely manner, impeccably measured, with unexpected finishing touches added, and, with expert installation. We would highly recommend Rissi for any decorating or design work for your home or office. Her work is of the highest quality and achieves rave reviews from visiting friends. We were and are delighted in her work.
Mary Gruppioni, Gainesville
I have used Decorating Doctors to glamorize my ho-hum house. I came across Rissi when I moved here from Philadelphia. What a blessing she has been! She took my outdated home and turned it into a showplace. Her ideas are innovative and designed just for you. I especially liked the fact that she listens to what you think and incorporates it with her decorating concepts. Rissi wants you to be a part of your home and gently shows how beautiful and glamorous your redesigned home can be. She is great in any room and especially terrific with window treatments.
Rissi transformed my living room, dining room, and kitchen and redid my old bathroom into a gorgeous spa. Don't wait! Get a Decorating Doctors makeover for your tired home. I know I am glad I did.
Richard Perallon, DDS
We had several cornices made for my office windows and every one of them is still holding up superbly, despite gentle cleaning several times throughout the year. The fabric has maintained its color better than expected, and no structural deterioration is evident. They are obviously well constructed and properly installed.
Rissi is also very knowledgeable in her field and easy to work with because she listens carefully to the wishes of her clients and offers sound advice on what works best in a particular situation.
We applaud the effort and quality that Rissi puts into delivering a solid product for her customers, and would definitely use her services again.
Margaret Johnston, Jacksonville
Margaret was searching for the perfect colors for the house she inherited from her aunt. The wall colors hadn’t been changed in years. Margaret, who loves color, was boggled by the choices of blue/violet, rose/pink, and how to choose the defining accent colors for the woodwork. Sample cards were strewn over every surface. Margaret's inability to make color decisions was frustrating her. She wanted to be sure she would love the colors that would renew her home and make it feel like her own. Margaret recently told me, "I am still pleased to be living in the colorful atmosphere I dreamed of! You made terrific color selections for my entire home. You helped me take into consideration each room's function, lighting, and how its colors would flow to the adjoining rooms. Thank you."
Sarah Bryan, Florahome
Sarah was smitten by the designs she saw during her travels to the Orient. But her home is rather conventional in its architecture; definitely not modern, minimal, or in any way oriental. Using her collections from the Orient, and accenting them with oriental patterned fabrics for her window & bedding fashions, gave her the living and bedroom interiors that remind her of those Chinese & Japanese styles she so admired. Ms Bryan said, "You undertand what I want but cannot really 'see' and then you make it happen for me. What you designed for me is even better than I thought it could be."
Susan Finley, Hawthorne
Susan loves butterflies, especially the electric blue Morphos. She said she "wanted to walk into her home and feel as free as a butterfly, and to be surrounded by that great blue color." I created a new floor plan using her two electric blue sofas and adding yellow slipper chairs in an arrangement that was designed to encourage conversation. I used both blue & gold silk in a custom “butterfly design” for her windows and at the archways that opened into her Florida room. Wrought iron hardware defined the window treatments and brilliant red accessories now gorgeously accent the room." I love my Florida room! Its faux finish and pretty trompe l'oeil scene - a garden path leading to the sea - together with the redesigned living room are my glorious butterfly garden. I feel so comfortable and at home when I walk in the door!"
Timothy Keyser - Keyser & Woodward, P.A.
Rissi Cherie redesigned and redecorated the interior of my law offices, which are in a historic building in Interlachen. The practical results were a much more efficient and better used layout of limited spaces. The aesthetic effects were a calming and pleasing color scheme.
